At Deptford Skating and Fun Center in Westville New Jersey, we see our share of birthday parties. We absolutely love watching childrens’ faces light up when they see the cake, decorations, and presents, and are surrounded by their friends and family. Yes, we love birthday parties, and it is a very exciting time for us because one of our own is having a birthday party, Roller Roo himself, and the best part is…YOU are invited! 
Roller Roo is the lovable Deptford kangaroo that you have probably have seen helping a child celebrate their special day, and now it is time to celebrate him! We are celebrating with birthday specials including FREE skating admission, a $5 birthday special on FunZone and Inflatables, Pizza/Soda and more! There will also be special discounts on birthday party bookings, summer camp registration, and hockey lesson sign-ups!
Deptford is the perfect place to throw your child’s next birthday party! With all of our party options to choose from, there is bound to be something for every child, at every age! We have several options for your child including private parties, custom parties, and laser tag parties. Of course, the birthday child is free, making your choice even easier. Roller Roo can even make an appearance and tell you about his own birthday party, if you would like!
The party will be Thursday March 31st, and last from 5:30-8pm. We hope to see all of your smiling faces there to ring in a new year with Roller Roo! Our DSC Ice Cream stand also opened Friday March 18th, so be sure to stop by and have an ice cream to celebrate Roller Roo’s birthday too!

Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at Deptford!
It is that time of year again! The time when everyone who has any trace, regardless of how small, of Irish in them celebrate their heritage. It is a time when Atlanta holds one of the country’s oldest running St. Patrick’s Day parades, and Chicago dyes their Chicago River green. St. Patrick’s Day is a day to have fun, and celebrate all things green and all things Irish, which is why we are celebrating it here at Deptford

Happenings at Deptford for St. Paddy’s Day!
We are pulling out all the stops, and having not one celebration, but two for St. Paddy’s Day! In addition to our fantastic deals for Triple Play Thursday and Friday Night Frenzy, there will be Irish themed trivia, discounts on green prizes, and super special green soda at the roll-in cafe!
Our normal Triple Play Thursday and Friday Night Frenzy nights are a great time to spend with the whole family! You get to customize your experience by choosing from our three activity choices: skating, FunZone, and inflatables, and you can get a great deal of $3 for one activity, $5 for two activities, and $7 for all three activities.
So, if you are feeling the luck of the Irish, come on in to Deptford Skating Center on our special Irish themed Triple play Thursday on March 17th, and our Irish themed Friday Night Frenzy on March 18th. It is sure to be a fun time for all!
Summer Is Just Around The Corner!
It is that time of year again! The time when the end of the school year is quickly approaching and parents are wondering how to occupy their children for the summer months. If you want your child to still have structure, which is important in the early years, we encourage you to consider enrolling them in a summer camp, namely Deptford’s Summer Camp!

- Deptford’s summer camp is open from June 15th through September 2nd, Monday through Friday from 9am to 4:30pm, with the option of extended care included. This is perfect for a busy family with parents that are employed outside the home, or a stay-at-home mom who needs time to take care of the house, and run errands.
- The children will love the variety of activities, as well as field trips that are routinely offered, and will get a healthy lunch and snack daily.
- Our staff is experienced and is comprised of certified teachers and college students pursuing a degree in child-care related fields. Each undergo an extensive background check, and are all CPR and First Aid certified.

Don’t have a little one?
We are also looking for fun, energetic, and most of all responsible people who love kids to be our camp counselors! We are always seeking highly qualified people to help with our summer camp. With full-time and part-time options, it is a great way to cultivate your experience in childcare, or explore an avenue you have always been interested in. We accept college students as well as adults, and you must pass a background check. If you feel this is a position for you, or someone you know, fill out an application!
